Harvard University Gazette"Two Views of Disparate Cultures: Fletcher Fellows Jones and Leeds Lecture on Their Forthcoming Books"

PRESS RELEASE

Invitation from Henry Louis Gates, Jr.:

The Fletcher Fellowship Lectures are an exciting addition to the groundbreaking work already being produced by Fletcher Fellows over the past four years, since the program's inaugural class was named in 2005. This yearly lecture will underscore the Fletcher Fellowship's status as the premier program for interdisciplinary scholarship and creative work on race relations post-Brown v. Board.

We have two great scholars coming on Monday, and your attendance at their lectures and at the reception following will mean so much to them, and to me. I realize the lectures fall at a time when one's thoughts may already be turning away from Harvard activities, but I do hope you'll join us for a couple of hours of fascinating discussion.

You are cordially invited.
